I seriously cannot believe that this week is halfway over… I’m not complaining that the weekend is fast approaching, though. All of my friends with real-person jobs come out to play on the weekends, & always look forward to off-work craziness. Bring it.
ENTERTAIN ME, friends.
On another note, I tried a new workout class on Monday called ‘Rockin’ Model Workout’ at Equinox ( I joined a few weeks ago, & I have no complaints so far… actually, it’s all I can do not to rave about Equinox ). It’s a combo of yoga, pilates, & dance for a total-body tone.
Based on the name alone, I thought “pshhhtt…. this’ll be simple enough.” OMG–wrong. My ass & legs are still so, so incredibly sore. If you’re an Equinox-goer, you have to try Rockin’ Model Workout! It is NO JOKE.

Disclaimer: I AM, in fact, wearing a bra in these images. It’s a nude bralette, but that totally counts. I’ve worn this coordinate set with a strappy white bra before, & it gives it a little bit of a different vibe.
I’m keeping the accessories to a minimum in regards to both color & quantity. Simplicity is underrated.
One thing I’m not keeping to a minimum here is texture. The lace set, perforated bag, lightly studded gladiator sandals, & the straw hat all have unique textures, & they work when placed together, in my humble opinion.
I have this thing with balanced visuals. I need color & texture ( AKA: weight ) to be balanced, and I feel like I’m the first to notice when its off. It really, really bothers me when things are not balanced out. I see it in outfits, home decor, images, etc.
Flash to a conversation I had with my roomie about our living room decor situation a little while ago: The only thing I kept bringing up was how we are going to balance the color & texture throughout the room.
I CANNOT with imbalance. It’s the type-A, perfectionist, & visually-driven person in me. Visual imbalance makes me legitimately frantic & stressed… I can feel it. Nope, nope, nope. Just, nope.
LOL—went on a tiny rant there, but I think thats the kind of personal weirdism that needs to be shared. Anyone else? Ya feel meh?
Anywho, I’ve included a few similar hat & shoe styles in the product slider above, in case you can’t find your size/have a different price range/etc. Y’all know the drill by now.
That’s it for today, lady gals. If ya need me, you know where to find me. xx
