My favorite thing about this outfit is how AFFORDABLE it is. Similar to the post I did about my X-Games shenanigans way-back-when, I got the majority of this outfit at affordable and accessible stores like Topshop & Forever 21. Pretty much all of these outfit STAPLES were listed in my Spring Shopping Guide as well.
I’m kind of obsessed with the whole layering-denim trend going on right now. Ask anyone who knows me & sees me on a daily basis ( lol @desi ), I’m always wearing my vintage denim jacket ( <<< nothing better than this one from Zara ) or this light chambray one with denim shorts or jeans and a hat ( because I’m just too busy to do my hair all cute every day ).
Also, as I’ve said 204839858 times before, Gilt shopping cannot be beat ( if you haven’t signed up for Gilt yet, e-mail me, email@example.com, for a little promo offer! ) I got these Ava & Aiden wedges for less than $100. I don’t really skimp on quality when it comes to my shoes, because cheap shoes look cheap. Pretty much always. So, invest in your shoes. It makes the entire outfit look better ( huge pet-peeve of mine is when girls/guys spend more money on their clothes than they do their shoes/hangbags. C’mon people… ). Also keep in mind, quality over quantity. You don’t need to be a millionaire too look like a badass, you just have to do it right.
In other news, I’m on my way back to Los Angeles today after spending a weekend with my people in Texas! I missed my friends, sick-o fried foods, and country music wayyyy too much, but I’m more than ecstatic to get back to LaLaLand. Its detox time.
Check back on Tuesday for one of my favorite ways to detox ( I’m obsessed with detoxing, like, addicted. ) !!
