Hellllllo wiener girls.
I am currently in Colorado for a hot sec, & then I’ll be off to Los Angeles on Wednesday ( if all goes according to plan, *crosses fingers* ).
I’ll be sharing everything on snapchat, as per usual.
So, today I wanted to share a quick/easy/light summer cocktail ( or mocktail, if you just want a skinny, sweet treat! ) for a hot day by the pool. I tried this recipe a few different ways: with vodka, without vodka, with white peaches, & with yellow peaches.
I’m not really the biggest fan of being able to taste the alcohol in drinks, because ew. BUT I also don’t like those super fruity, i-can-feel-my-teeth-rotting kind of drinks that mask the alcohol completely ( disclaimer: these are either really dangerous or you’ll be sick to your stomach after half a drink because you’ve just ingested a week’s worth of sugar ).
This slush is a good mixture of fruity & alcohol masking. I’m diggin’ the fact that its a sweet treat/cocktail that doesn’t include any sugary fruit juices. This recipes calls for real, whole fruit. The REAL SHIT.
If you use white peaches ( as seen in these images ) the resulting slush will taste very cotton-candy-ish…. seriously SO YUM. It was light & a little tart ( I used more lemon than necessary ).
Boozy Peach & Lemon Slush ( makes one serving )
· 1 Peach
· 1 Lemon
( seedless OR use the juice of 1 lemon )
· 1/2 tsp Liquid Stevia
· 1 shot Vodka
( Tito’s for gluten free or skip for mocktail version )
· 1 Cup Ice
Peel Peach & Lemon ( or juice the lemon ) and place into a blender with stevia, ice, and vodka. Blend & enjoy!
Kk, that’s all I have for y’all today friends.
