Y’all. I am so excited to FINALLY share one of my favorite new jewelry companies with all of you: Wishing Well.
I began my little journey with Wishing Well back in December, when I agreed to be a part of their Launch video (See below, Shot by the most badass guy ever, Myles. Seriously…. so painfully talented) & their first round of shooting (all images shot by Kristen Kilpatrick… also so talented). Knowing the team that Victoria Wise (Founder of Wishing Well) brought together, I would’ve been crazzzzy to say no. And this video??? I die. Also cool? Everyone on this creative little team is from Fort Worth, TX. Aka: My hometown.
What is so baller about Wishing Well is, yes, their jewelry, but also the message behind it. Each accessory is a ‘well’ of sorts, opening to reveal a little hiding spot for the symbols (like charms) they sell (or whatever else you want to fit in there). Each symbol represents a wish, or an intention, that you have for yourself. Needless to say, my fav symbol is the ‘Hustle‘ symbol… because, duh. Its like an updated, cooler-version of a charm bracelet, but instead of collecting mementos from places you have been, its about collecting dreams for your future. Vibes on vibes.
Also, as noted on the site, their message is all about creating a network of people who support & inspire each other. Basically, a grouping of people who will make you get up off your ass and make it happen, whatever the “it” is that you dream for yourself. The “Journal” part of their website (is like a blog) explains their mission more with each post. My favorite so far is this one, for the record.
Loving This Pendant. It Also Comes in Turquoise!
What is so amazing about my little collab with Wishing Well is that the opportunity to be involved with this jewelry line came about the month before I made my move out to Los Angeles. This move was huge for me, because it was finally me getting off of my ass and making something happen for myself. I decided that I needed a change about a year ago, made a plan to get myself where I wanted (here), and made it happen. What a coincidence that this mentality aligns flawlessly with the Wishing Well mentality… perfect, and I mean PERFECT, timing.
Life is weird like that sometimes… and I freakin’ love it.
